Programs

Since its founding in 1913, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. has always been at the forefront of serving the needs of the community. With the sorority being a community service-oriented organization, the Chester (SC) Alumnae Chapter’s Program Planning and Development Committee is responsible for researching and presenting worthwhile community service activities in which the chapter can initiate.

Chester (SC) Alumnae Chapter works tirelessly to provide programs that uphold the sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust of Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement. Some of the current programs that operate under each thrust include:

  • Red Room Chat
